Seth Godin has pointed to a great Web 2.0 traffic watch list that the folks at Alexaholic have put up for him.

Fascinating stuff, especially at the extremes, where there has been virtually no movement in the top twenty, and huge movement in the bottom two hundred. Granted, some of that is an artifact of the list length — it is easier to move up 90 places on a 900-item list if you start in position 900 than if you start in position 91 — but it’s still good stuff.

The list is headed up my 75 million member strong MySpace, purchased by News Corp. in 2005.

Time moves forward relentlessly and at a remarkably steady pace–second-by-second, minute-by-minute, hour-by-hour–just as it has since, well, time began. Many of us think of watch just as an instrument to know the pace of time, while there are others who consider their watch as an extension of their personality. Such watch lovers don’t mind shelling out some big bucks to find a perfect piece to complement their persona. From split-second chronographs to moon phase calendars, musical chimes to minute repeaters, ultra slim cases to stylish power-reserve indicators, there’s virtually no end to the complexities watchmakers can crowd onto a dial. The pieces are as laden with complications as they are with extra zeros. And bear in mind that many are available only in limited editions, if they can be found at all. Here’s something for all the watch aficionados- the list of Top 10 eternal time machines by Forbes.

1. Vacheron Constantin- Tour de l’Ile ($1.5 million)The Swiss watchmaker marked its 250th anniversary with the world’s busiest timepiece. The Tour de l’Ile has 834 separate parts and 16 complications, including tourbillon, power reserve, striking-mechanism torque, moon phase, perpetual calendar, sunrise time, leap-year indicator, sunset time, sky chart and others. At $1.5 million, it’s the priciest timepiece in Vacheron Constantine’s anniversary line.

2. Blancpain- 1735- ($839,000)In the No. 2 spot for the second year in a row is Blancpain’s ultraslim 1735. The ultra slim, 42 mm platinum case itself a complication, according to Blancpain’s owner, holds a perpetual calendar, split-second chronograph, minute repeater, tourbillon and moon phase minder. With a crocodile strap and 80-hour power reserve, it’ll wear well with just about anything.

3. Girard-Perregaux- Opera Three- ($532,000)what really differentiates Girard-Perregaux’s Opera Three from all those other complicated watches is its ability to sound passing hours not with a beep, gong or chime, but with actual tunes. A convenient selector enables a choice of two different tunes–each of which can be personalized to the wearer’s taste. With a 43 mm platinum case and a crocodile strap, it’s a mellifluous timepiece that can be yours for $532,000.
4. Parmigiani Fleurier ($477,000)
5. Roger Dubuis ($450,000)
6. Audemars Piguet ($379,000)
7. Jaeger-LeCoultre ($310,000)
8. IWC ($300,000)
Incheon City authorized the Portman consortium to build 151-story twin towers in Songdo International City in the Incheon Free Economic Zone. As of yet known as Incheon Tower, the twin towers will be connected by three sky bridges and house a hotel, a convention center, offices and a shopping mall. The multi-phased $11 billion project is part of Korea’s efforts to transform 1,500 acres of reclaimed land into an unrivaled business hub for Northeast Asia. The construction consortium led by Portman Holdings plans to complete the tower by August 2010. With inclusion of the 151-story twin tower in the FEZ, Incheon will be transformed into a world-class business city on par with Shanghai and Dubai. The twin towers will become the landmark that symbolizes Korea’s future growth potential and opportunities.

Incheon Tower is set to be the world’s second tallest building behind the 160-story Burj Dubai that is under construction in the Gulf state.

CHICAGO (MarketWatch) — Sony is still the country’s No. 1 brand, according to results of an annual Harris Poll released Wednesday. It’s the seventh year in a row that the company has been ranked at the top in the brand survey.

Dell remained the No. 2 brand, according to a news release from market-research firm Harris Interactive. Coca-Cola moved to third place this year, up from fourth in last year’s survey.
The poll surveyed 2,351 U.S. adults between June 7 and 13. Respondents were asked to name the three brands they considered the best — without being provided a list of names.
Half of the top 10 brands are for electronics products, the release pointed out, while three are for automobile and two for consumer and packaged goods.
The top 10 brands, according to the Harris survey:

1. Sony
2. Dell
3. Coca-Cola
4. Toyota
5. Ford
6. Honda
7. Hewlett Packard
8. General Electric
9. Kraft Foods
10. Apple

Chevrolet, Panasonic, Pepsi Cola, Nike and Maytag didn’t make the top 10, but still received a substantial number of mentions, according to the release.
Kraft Foods fell from its No. 3 spot last year to No. 9 this year, while Toyota moved its No. 4 rank from No. 10 last year — those were the two biggest movers in the survey. General Motors and Microsoft both dropped out of the top 10 this year.
