For the seasoned traveler who just can’t leave their home country without bringing along their dear pet, Komfort Pets is out to make your animal’s trip much more bearable. The firm’s climate-controlled carrier not only cools Fido off when the ambient temperature reaches 72-degrees Fahrenheit, but also utilizes its patent-pending technology to heat things up if the outside air temperature dips below 65-degrees. The crate is said to be suitable for non-climate-controlled garages, and could be equally useful in homes, cars, boats, or RVs. Currently, a 19-inch x 13-inch x 16-inch rendition is available for $399, and while this one is only meant to hold creatures up to 12.5-pounds, larger carriers are slated for release later this year.

[Via BookOfJoe]

Joining an already crowded field of products designed to prey on pet owners’ love for their animals, a new GPS-equipped dog collar from Sweden’s Petlink Development and M-Tech promises to give you Rover’s exact coordinates by simpling texting the service over Telia’s network. The self-titled Petlink device works much like the GPS PRO we saw a few years back, allowing Swedes and eventually Danes to pay around twelve bucks a month for the privilege of nailing down a lost pet’s location on the off chance that they successfully escape from <strike minmax_bound="true">captivity</strike> their happy homes. Unfortunately Petlink — like most other models in this category — is a little too bulky for use on animals of the feline persuasion, so if you’re a cat owner, this may be just the impetus you need to trade up to a nice Lab or pit bull.

The Dog Walker treadmill helps prevent doggy obesity and apparently relieves the dog’s stress, all while helping it to exert all that pent-up energy from being cramped up in the house all day. Aside from sporting a smaller, dog-friendly design, casters to enable easy transport, and two side shields to prevent minor tumbling disasters, the machine also sports a safety leash which prevents the pup from sliding off the rear (or giving up on the goal) and a devilish remote control to vary the speed from 0 to 5-kilometers per hour (3.1 mph). So if you’re tired of Fido’s stomach dragging the ground while crawling around in misery, you can pick up its very own treadmill (to go along with that recently-purchased pedometer) for Â¥15,800 ($131).

[Via TokyoMango]

I have earlier told you about Self-Watering Plant Pots that completely frees-you away from the task of watering your plants. But, if you already have a nice terrace garden with good number of pots then instead of the troublesome task of getting your plants transferred to the self-watering pots, you can install an Automatic Plant Watering System in your garden that will take care of watering your plants on its own. The plant watering system featured here is designed in Italy and the device automatically waters up to 20 plants for up to 40 days without the need for a spigot or power outlet.

The device comes with up to 20 drippers attached to a 32′ PVC hose that runs from the systems reservoir to your plants and then back again. The system also features a washable polyamide filter that removes rust, dirt, and other impurities so drippers wont clog. And, the four easy-to-set watering programs regulate the 6 1/2 gallon reservoir for 10, 20, 30, or 40 days of operation. The tank of the system is separated from its support base to prevent condensation, and non-slip rubber pads protect table or counter surfaces. The automatic plant watering system is available in limited quantities for just $64.95.

This particular setup is geared to work on all roaming pets, but certainly has its limitations. While the GPS-enabled collar sends the exact location, movements, and velocity to your handheld tracking unit, your pet still turns MIA if it wanders more than a mile away. If you’re fairly certain Fido isn’t apt to stray all that far, you can setup a GPS fence that will send audible alerts if that perimeter is breached. This seems to be a decent system for multi-pet owners who have a tough time keeping things on a leash, as you can maintain a keen eye on three creatures simultaneously — but it’ll cost you $459 for the first one, and $149 for each additional collar.

Place the special ball into the driver by pushing the opening of the club on it to lock it in place. Then pull the driver back like a standard golf club and swing normally to launch the ball up to 100 yards. Just make sure the dog isn’t in the way when you swing.

For today’s busy have-it-all, multi-tasker on the go, this EZ Digital Dog trainer eliminates the need to actually share a moment of warmth and connection with your dog. One of the device’s chief attributes appears that you’ll no longer have to annoy your neighbors with wild, insane dog banter.
