It’s been a hot minute since we’ve seen a noteworthy ThinkVision LCD, but Lenovo is now claiming that its L220x is the “industry’s first 22-inch widescreen WUXGA (1,920 x 1,200) resolution monitor.” Aside from the luscious bevy of pixels, this bad boy also touts an integrated USB hub (one in, four out), HDCP support, VGA / DVI inputs, a six-millisecond response time, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 178-degree viewing angles, and a 1,000:1 contrast ratio. The damage? Around $550 when it hits in November.

Barely a month after we saw the LifeBook U810 hit the FCC, this interestingly-designed unit — which is dubbed the U1010 in certain locales like Australia — has been unboxed for our viewing pleasure. Specs wise, the minuscule machine touts an 800MHz Intel A110 processor, a GMA 950 graphics set, Windows Vista Home Premium, a 5.6-inch display with a 1,024 x 600 pixel resolution, 1GB of RAM, and 40GB of HDD space. Best of all, this lucky fellow took some 40 pictures of his unboxing experience, so be sure and hit the read link for more pictorial delight.
[Thanks, Derek]

It’s been nearly a year since we’ve heard from Sangean, but the company is hitting back with a swank new WiFi internet radio that’s shaped a good deal like its past units. The WFR-20 offers up “direct access to over 6,000 Internet Radio stations (and 21,242 on-demand streams) in 250 locations from 60 genres,” and you can organize your favorites in the My Stations folder. Additionally, it’s designed to operate with or without a PC, and if you have a networked computer nearby with Windows Media Player, you can have “full access to your digital media library using the UPnP Server.” Furthermore, you’ll find a three-line display, four alarms, an aux input, dual five-watt speakers, and a wireless remote to boot, but there’s no word on a price or release date just yet.
[Thanks, Larry]

While Nokia didn’t exactly choose the quietest day to launch its latest handset, the E51 is getting official, regardless. This candybar-styled device was designed with the suits in mind, as Nokia even touts its ability to “integrate tightly with corporate telephony systems (PBX) through Nokia Mobile Unified Communications solutions.” Specs wise, you’ll find a two-inch 320 x 240 resolution screen, two-megapixel camera, video streaming / playback with support for H.264 and Real codecs, video calling capability, integrated 802.11g, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, FM tuner, miniUSB, IrDA, GPRS / EGPRS and HSDPA compatibility, up to 130MB of memory, a microSD expansion slot, quad-band GSM and WCDMA 850/2100 support, and up to 4.4-hours of talk time (or 13 days in standby). The E51 is slated to ship globally in Q4 for €350 ($485) sans a contract, and if you’re craving more pics, just hit up the gallery below.
[Thanks, Nokie and James B.]

It’s been a short while since we’ve seen any news on the P2 HD front, but Panasonic is hoping to extract a few more hundies from those sold on the format by introducing a 32GB P2 card. The device, labeled AJ-P2C032RG, can be installed in sets of five into the AJ-HPX3000 and HPX2000 P2 HD camcorders for recording “up to 2.5 hours (over 3 hours in 24p) of footage in AVC-Intra 100 or DVCPRO HD and 5 hours (over 6.5 hours in 24p) in AVC-Intra 50 or DVCPRO 50.” As you’d probably expect, this sucka won’t run you cheap, as it’s expected to demand a staggering $1,650 when it hits in November.
