Available in “Espresso Blackâ€, the stylish Z558 is Sony Ericsson’s latest multimedia clamshell for Asia. It boasts a 220 x 176 touchscreen display, 1.3-megapixel camera, 18MB internal memory, M2 card slot, Bluetooth 2.0, USB 2.0 connectivity, and a built-in FM tuner. The Z558 goes on sale next month, no word yet on pricing.

Sony expands its digital audio player lineup with the sleek NW-S706. Available in pink, black, or purple varities, this player boasts 4GB of memory, an integrated FM tuner, noise cancellation technology, quick charge function, channel separation, line-in recording, and an incredible 50-hour battery life. Pricing and availability have not yet been announced.
It looks like Sony is finally hopping into the high-capacity flash pool, though the tiny color-screen leaves something to be desired. We may see an additional model with Bluetooth as an option

RegHardware reviews the BlackBerry Pearl, which features a a 240 x 260 TFT display, 1.3-megapixel camera, 64MB Flash memory, microSD card slot, media playback, Bluetooth 2.0, and a SureType keypad. This phone is available now through all T-Mobile outlets, priced at $199 with service agreement. Here’s the verdict:
Pearl is the best BlackBerry yet. Full stop. It does everything RIM is famous for – seamless email and communication – and packs it into the same space as a normal mobile phone. Throw in the easy-to-use roller ball navigation and a built-in camera and it covers all the bases

This Meizu M6 clone boasts 1GB of built-in memory, a large 3.0-inch TFT-LCD display, 2.0-megapixel camera, an SD card slot, TV-out, and a host of other multimedia features. Supported formats include MP3, WMA, and WAV, DivX, XviD, ASF, and JPEG. No word yet on availability.
The major downer here seems to be the measly four to five hours of battery life that this thing manages to squeeze out of its 1,100mAH pack, but at around 1,554 yuan ($196), you can’t really expect all your portable media desires to be fulfilled
