HP recently unveiled its latest Windows Mobile Pocket PC, the HP iPAQ rx4000, realizing its vision of mobile freedom where consumers stay in touch at work and at play through seamless connectivity. At a recent event in China, HP showcased a breadth of easy-to-use mobility solutions with innovative designs, which reflect consumers’ personal design preferences, enabling consumers to be entertained and productive on the go.
While the iPAQ rx4000 isn’t a Phone Edition device at all, it’s worth enough to be mentioned here since it is a new kind of device, HP is going to release. Before, HP always had the business user in mind, when they released their iPAQ or Jornada Pocket PCs. Now, with the iPAQ rx4000, HP has the consumer in mind.
Breaking new ground in design for handheld devices, HP launched the HP iPAQ rx4000 Mobile Media Companion series. Its compact, palm-sized smart design will enhance consumers’ entertainment experience for fun on the go virtually anywhere and anytime they desire. More features and pricing after the jump.

If you’re one of the non-conforming, iDon’t conformers then you’d best get with the program son. SanDisk just hit us with their Sansa Base Station which, for all the hyperbole about it transforming your Sansa MP3 into a home audio jukebox, is just a run-o-the-mill dock and remote for you Sansa player. As such, it includes a USB 2.0 and RCA jack, remote control, and of course, a “universal connector” which slots into the bottom of your e200 or C200 series players for some hot DAP-on-dock charging action. Thing is, for all their marketing audacity, the only bit we find surprising is the fact that this “must-have” accessory didn’t already exist. Yours for $70 bills by October in the both the US and Europe, you choose.

Priced at under $900, the 24-inch Samsung SyncMaster 244T offers 1920 x 1200 resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 6ms response time, 500 cd/m2 brightness, and 178-degree viewing angles. Here’s the bottom line:
The SyncMaster 244T is the best high resolution LCD monitor I’ve seen at a great price. For all but professional image editors that demand a colour calibrated display, the 244T is ideal for Photoshop work
