The MobileCharge system will give “sales professionals the freedom to take secure, real-time payments outside of the office,” said Elisabeth Owen, president of wireless business solutions for Alltel. “MobileCharge is a great tool for companies whose salesforces routinely meet clients in the field. Working on Alltel’s wireless network, it improves cash flow by enabling immediate payment and saves money by reducing back-office expenses.” The system runs on BlackBerry 7250 and 7130e and the Palm Treo.
