Ferrari 575 GTZ

Posted on 24 April 2006 by admin

Zagato unveils its latest project, a special edition Ferrari 575 GTZ — based on the 575 Maranello — built exclusively for Japanese car collector Yoshiyuki Hayashi. Aesthetically, it features a two-tone paintjob and an all-aluminium body. More pics after the jump.

When Zagato received a request from Mr. Hayashi, it informed Ferrari of the project. Ferrari thought it would be a good opportunity to celebrate the 250 GTZ’s anniversary. The two companies then created a car that harked back to the 250, and built it around the Ferrari 575.

Elitephone, for the Models

Posted on 24 April 2006 by admin

This is the Elitephone and by no means is it l33t. The product homepage greets browsers with the phrase “A Mobile for Models by Elite Model.” Okay, so what the hell does that mean? Only models can use it? Overall this is a really horrible phone. It is small and has a 300k VGA cameraphone. Not much else besides the usual ho-hum of features and it seems to only be available in Europe.

From techeblog:

This tiny clamshell phone features a VGA camera, TFT-LCD display, “6 Elite Model Look wallpapers”, an “Elite Graphic Interface”, integrated games, and a variety of productivity apps (calendar, memo, alarm, etc.). Other perks include an “Elite Model Look vanity case” and a personal handsfree kit. It measures a svelte 59 x 53 x 22.5 mm and weighs only 75g.

This new Iomega Network Attached Storage (NAS) device is more connected than Skynet. With gigabit ethernet, two USB 2.0 ports, wireless 802.11G networking, your Desperate Housewives bittorrent downloads are available anywhere you have a connection.

On the storage side, RAID 0, 1 and 5 can be configured to support four 250GB hard drives, which makes for a maximum of 1 Terabyte. Even Dean Cain couldn’t handle that much Teri Hatcher.
