We’re always wondering how much junk we have on our various SD cards; thanks to A-Data, we can tell at a glance. Similar to the JumpDrive with E Ink, A-Data added a tiny liquid crystal display on their BCD-SD cards. The LC display uses power from a host while inserted and indicates the remaining capacity on the card. Pop the card out and the display retains the information until you reinsert it, so you can manage your data needs. A-Data BCD-SD cards come in the typical SD flavors: 128, 256, 512MB as well as 1 and 2GB.

You know where the blind spots are in the car, don’t you? Lift the veil on those missing visuals with Magna Donnelly’s VideoMirror. It won a “Girls Best Friend” tech award, but c’mon, you’re man enough for this too since it’s so James Bond-ish. Drop your precious baby in reverse and the 3.5-inch LCD display automatically extends from the rear-view, showing video from the mini-cam mounted on the vehicle’s rear. Put your vehicle in drive and the analog display retracts out of sight, leaving you free to drive away from the sport formerly known as “blind”.

Lenovo has just announced their new T60 and X60 Yonah lines that include Dual Core processors in the high end, along with options for Verizon EV-DO in both lines. We couldn’t glean any info as to whether these will support HSDPA as well, but what we do know is that the compact X60 ‘books score you an XGA 12.1-inch screen, 7.5 hours of battery life, and weigh 2.7 pounds, while the T60 line (pictured) sports 15.1-inch displays, but still keeps things light and skinny at 4.5 pounds and 1-inch thick. All the laptops are privy to PCI-Express graphics, with the T60p running the 256MB ATI FireGL card, and the T60 line can support serial ATA drives and up to 4GBs of RAM.
