Humvee that defy gravity!

Posted on 10 December 2005 by admin

Absolutely nothing stands in the way of a HUMVEE® — not even a wall! Drive this remote-controlled HUMVEE to the base of any wall and this intrepid machine climbs right up! A conveyor-belt of wheels combines with an incredibly powerful fan that pulls air through front and rear vents to create 3300 rpm of wall-climbing suction — the same technology that Formula 1 racecars use to stay low to the ground.
Works on any vertical surface that is smooth! The pneumatic technology is totally safe — no need to worry about tread tracks on the wallpaper. The 49MHz remote control steers the HUMVEE® forward, back, left, right and up and down the wall. Exclusive desert camouflage finish.
Measures 5 1/2″ x 8″ x 12″ and weighs 1.7 lbs. Runs on one rechargeable 6V battery; remote runs on one 9V battery (both batteries included). Ages 8 and older. 90-day warranty.

Motorola PEBL soon to launch on T-Mobile?

Posted on 10 December 2005 by admin

The PEBL has shown up on T-mobile’s site — it’s listed as “Coming soon” so not sure exactly when it’ll be available for purchase other than, well, soon. It’s listed as a quad-band phone which contradicts earlier specs indicating it would only be tri-band. That’s more band for your buck, pepl.

Trust PSP cases

Posted on 10 December 2005 by admin

Unlike iPod accessories that are still going strong, there seems to have been a bit of a drought in terms of PSP hardware add-ons for a while. Trust now returns to the popular ‘speaker case’ trick as already boasted by the likes of Radica and Logic3. The Trust GM-5400 helps to protect the unit from the rigours of travel inside its hard case, but better still it has an integrated Li-Ion battery pack that will give you an extra five hours playing time and powers the compact 1 watt speaker set inside the case lid. The £19.99 price tag gives this particular accessory an edge over some of the competition.

Pupillo, cellphone-controlled home spycam

Posted on 10 December 2005 by admin

Spying on those pesky kids or that errant spouse back home just got a little easier for customers of UK cellphone service provider Three Telecom. The company has rolled out the Pupillo, a £150 ($261) battery-powered spycam that can be accessed by 3G cellphone. It even has night vision for those stealth spy sessions. Of course, the fact that it looks like a miniature garbage can with a lens doesn’t exactly make it discreet; maybe the next version can look like, er, R2-D2 or something.
